Having received feedback from Grandparents about wanting P/elements in a book format rather than an electronic application, we are publishing an e-book called “Engage” this spring.  It is a complementary tool to use alongside P/elements.  As we look at demand numbers, we will consider publishing a hardcopy book.

More than anything, Engage is a user’s manual for Grandparents.  The idea allows a Grandparent to be prepared through the tutorials integrated into each lesson.  Most importantly, this allows them to work with their grandchildren from a format they are comfortable with, while their youth uses an electronic device.  The look and feel of the lessons are the same, allowing Grandparents to be engaged and not having to deal with technology.

It’s a pleasure to write the tutorials for each lesson.  This gives me a chance to marinate on the material and bring clarity to salient points.

More than anything, we realize the need to reach as many as possible with the saving message of Jesus Christ.  If we need to modify or change an approach, we need to identify the audience, giving them what they need, but not force them into something that may be of a different generation.
